These are but the ramblings of a very keen, amateur gardener based in Oxfordshire. Not much of a surprise I suppose, as the title gives that away somewhat.

I am very lucky to be able to dabble in such a lovely garden, consisting of a walled garden, natural field, lawns and croquet lawn. The walled garden includes, herbaceous borders, rose walk, kitchen garden, fruit cage and greenhouse. We started working in the garden four years ago, which is up for public scrutiny once a year for the annual National Garden Scheme (NGS) open day.

We do most damage in the walled garden, which is the source of much of this blog, though we sometimes venture beyond into the field, other gardens and/or horticultural shows.

Recently proudly crowned committee member of the Garden Media Guild, which will mean further subjection to more of my incessant scribbling. When not gardening, or writing, I fabricate online content for StreamHM, web design & build, run by Luke, my husband. The layout and design of this blog is fully to his credit.
